yk i feel like because I kind of skipped so much time in my daydreams, because my current main one is a future of my usual main one I keep feeling like my life is halfway over and I have to remind myself that I'm fifteen and that I have time and that im not losing anything right now

But it still just hurts so fucking much knowing that I will probably get "better" one day, that I'll need my daydreams less and I'm so fucking worried about that

I dont wanna hear "don't feel guilty for getting better" because I know I will, I will feel guilty for leaving my family, my friends, the loves of my fucking life. I need to know that it's okay to grieve something that I built myself, it's okay to grieve something - a whole universe of worlds - that kept me alive for so long, that still is keeping me alive.

I'm just stuck in this in-between of knowing absolutely nothing about my future but also knowing exactly how my life will turn out, even though I don't really. and I know that some part of me will always be lingering in my head, longing for a life I will never get to live, with people that will never be real.

hello girlie who lives in a cooler climate than I! Do you have any leather boot recs for winter? Something with a heel no higher than 2 inches and can be worn with skirts/jeans. There's like 40294 boots online and I have 3 pairs at the moment but one of them is for the rain, another is for parties, and the third is what I usually wear when I head up north, but they aren't leather and the ankle does not fit properly. Or if not explicit recs any guidelines for boots shopping!

Hello! I’m afraid that I don’t have any specific recommendations for brand-new boots that can be bought online, because honestly, I don’t own any! All of my boots are secondhand, so instead I’m going to give you some suggestions for what to look for on sites like Poshmark/Vinted/eBay etc. I hope that’s okay!

First of all, with leather shoes in general, but especially boots that you’re looking to wear in harsh winter weather, you want something made in a very high-quality and well-finished leather, that’s sewn very well and very sturdily. Good leather is quite a visual thing and difficult to identify in photos of secondhand boots that could likely do with a polish, so I’d recommend instead looking for a few specific brands that are known for using exceptional leather quality. I wouldn’t usually advocate for looking at brands over overall quality and construction, but in this case, it’s going to help you a lot. You’ll also want to look for stitched (not glued) and leather (not rubber) soles, and make sure that the boot overall is in good condition—a few scuffs and scrapes are fine for secondhand, but you don’t want the sole wearing through or coming off or anything like that.

For boots that work with jeans, I’d usually suggest looking at ankle boots, because they’ll just look sleeker and less bulky underneath the legs of jeans. I personally have ankle boots from Chanel, Alberto Fasciani, Céline, and Salvatore Ferragamo, but I’m going to strongly suggest that you search for Ferragamo first and foremost. Ferragamo leather is divine and his craftsmanship arguably on a par with (some say better than) Chanel and Hermès, he makes boots in a very classic cut with typically quite a lowish heel and very comfortable, and most importantly, Ferragamo is not very popular nowadays amongst female designer shoe-buyers. I’m well aware that I’m probably now going to receive at least one indignant ask claiming that they only wear Ferragamo shoes, but in truth, Ferragamo has an extremely low resale value in the context of his quality and craftsmanship, and this is to your advantage. I bought my pair of beautiful black Ferragamo ankle boots, likely made in the late ’80s or early ’90s, for £8 (they were up for £15 and I sent a cheeky offer), polished them up myself, and now they’re one of my nicest pairs of boots and even my fashion-blind father has complimented them.

Knee-high boots are going to probably work best with a skirt or skinny jeans, though they’re more of a statement piece. I do love my knee-high boots, I have several pairs mostly in suede from various brands, but I’m just going to give you one single recommendation here: Spanish riding boots. They’re a specific sort of design rather than brand, although I do think they’re only made by a few producers in Spain and then just sold off by different brands who import them—I bought mine as labelled ‘House of Bruar’ (an upscale country clothing store in the UK) but they’re identical to my friend’s boots as labelled ‘Fairfax & Favour’ (another, much more expensive, country clothing brand here!). I’ve heard on the grapevine that Estribo is the maker in Spain, but you might have to do some more research on this. In any case, my point is that these are great boots, they come in multiple heel heights, leather options, and design choices, and they’re a bit of a statement and a little different from your standard knee-high boot without being over-the-top. Again, look for smooth leather and stitched leather soles, and I suggest doing a little bit more research into brands and then looking up secondhand from there, unless of course you can actually just get it cheaper directly from Spain. I bought mine secondhand but brand new and unused for £30, and admittedly, my pair are suede so I haven’t tested them in extreme winter weather, but I’ve worn them a lot and walked many miles in them, and they’re holding up so well and receive many, many compliments.

Finally, a few words of advice. Look after your boots—polish not only makes them look shiny, but it also conditions the leather and prevents cracks and wear that would render them unsuitable for winter weather. Make sure that you’re buying the correct size to fit a thick, warm pair of socks underneath, and that they fit around your calves, too—this is less important for boots only worn under jeans, but the last thing you want is a zip that doesn’t go up all the way, or to bulge slightly over the top of the boot. On that note: buy boots that end at a joint, either ankle or knee, not a fleshy point of the leg, for the most flattering look. In extremely harsh weather, don’t wear leather boots! In heavy rain, I wear rubber wellies (they’re not stylish but they are cute, and they hold up against English puddles), and in harsh freezing cold weather, I have a pair of felt valenki—leather just won’t keep you warm in –15°C+, and it won’t hold up well in that kind of temperature, either.

I hope this is helpful! I’m so sorry that I couldn’t provide specific links to ready-to-wear boots, but I really want you to be able to buy the best quality for the least amount of money possible, and I do truly think that this is the best way to do that.

Y/N huffed. “I just don’t understand why you can’t see my side of things! I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but I thought it would be easier this way!” She pinches the bridge of her nose, knuckles turning white.

Kaffee rolls his eyes. “Oh don’t try to throw this back on me! You were the one who insisted on keeping this little fact to yourself.” He made air quotes with his fingers with the last line. “Obviously this isn’t working. If we can’t even talk to each other about this stuff.” He turned around and waved his hand dismissively at Y/N. “Don’t bother calling me later. I’m going straight to bed.”

Y/N sputtered, not believing that Kaffee was just walking away from her, was just going to give up on them, just like that.

Well, she wasn’t.

Kaffee was almost out the door, fingers on the push bar, when he heard the opening notes of a song.

Not just a song.

The song.

The song that he met Y/N to, the song that played over the radio when they had first kissed, the one that she had sung that morning in his kitchen after she had stayed over for the first time.

Y/N was butchering the notes, but Kaffee could recognize Céline Dion’s “it’s all coming back to me now” anywhere. He smiled down at his shoes and then turned on his heels.

Y/N shoots him a wobbly grin as she sings, pointing straight at him. She winks, and the bar’s lights dim, stage lights swiveling to point at him. The rest of the patrons look around, confused.

Kaffee ducks his head and raises a hand in apology to those around him. A couple of the people chuckle as they realize what’s going on, but others groan as Y/N’s off-tune singing soars higher. Kaffee leans against the nearest unoccupied table.

Y/N stands on stage, feeling the barest hint of regret at choosing such a public way to win back Kaffee, especially since her singing voice sucks. She knows it, and by the grimaces on the audience’s faces, they can hear it too.

But then, something wonderful happens. The ladies who had been singing on the stage when Y/N had so rudely interrupted them joined in. Their harmonies mostly covered up Y/N’s vocals. She prayed to the God above that Kaffee would stick around for the end of the song.

She had a plan.

Much to her great joy, the further into the song she got, the closer Kaffee came to the stage. She danced on the stage, hamming the crowd up and earning a few laughs from those watching below.

Kaffee reached the bottom of the stage and Y/N leaned down, out of breath from singing. She’s dreading the notes coming next (not that she would ever be able to hit them) and so she begs first.

“Have you forgiven me yet?”

Kaffee quirked an eyebrow up and shot Y/N one of his infamous smirks. Oh, how that look made Y/N melt. But she forced herself upright and keeps singing, tipping the microphone back above her head as the high note nears. She wails it out, all air squeezed from her lungs as she puts every ounce of herself into this performance.

Kaffee chuckled under his breath and looked down at the floor.

Y/N knelt on the stage, looking back at the chorus ladies and thanking them. She sucked in oxygen, chest heaving as she watched Kaffee for a reaction.

If he walked out after this, it truly was over, things were finished between them.

Kaffee looked up and caught Y/N’s gaze. He motioned her forward. She leaned in, face inches from his.

Silence hangs throughout the bar, all chatter gone as everyone waits for Kaffee’s response.

Y/N spies the twinkle in his eye. Knowing that he wasn’t going to respond, Y/N breathlessly asked, “can I kiss you now?”

There’s a beat after the question where Y/N thinks that she truly has failed, that Kaffee is going to walk away, but then he’s grabbing her face and pulling her close. His lips are pressed on Y/N’s and she’s balancing on the lip of the stage and everything’s messy and loud and not at all how Y/N thought her apology would go. But the crowd was cheering and clapping and the chorus ladies were squealing and hopping behind her as they watched the kiss unfold.

Kaffee pulled away and shot Y/N another melting grin. “Apology accepted.” She giggles and leans her forehead on his, eternally grateful that her stupid silly plan had worked.

You remember it all. The way your heart ached, the way your life changed in a heartbeat.

You remember the love she gaved you:

You and gwen laid in bed naked. You were already falling asleep. Her hand rubbed small circles on your back as she kissed your forehead.

" I love you y/n " she whispered pulling your sleeping body closer to her.

" beyond stars" were the last words you were able to catch as sleep killed you.

The way she always protected you:

A paparazzi grabbed your hand and tossed you around to face him. You whinced in pain.

" just one picture mrs.christie please" he shouted grabbing your arm again.

" let go of me" you shouted, you voice broke, showing that you were scared and hurt. Something that made Gwen's heart ache.

" she said let go you idiot" gwen said as she punched the guy in the face.

There was so much white noise going on. You covered your ears like a kid as you watched gwen beat up the guy brutally making, his colleagues run away.

Gwen held you firmly and walk you out of the airport. After you were out safe she lectured her bodyguards for not paying better attention to you.

" thank you" you said hugging her tightly.

" of course my little angel, I'll do anything to protect you. I wasn't gonna let that asshole touch you like that, never in a million years will I let someone abuse you like that baby" she whispered as she coverd your face in kisses.

The way she was never had a problem with spending money on you:

" hey gwen" you called out, from the shoe isle.

" yeah?" You heard her faintly respond.

" can you come here please" you replied softly, gwen almost melted at your baby voice. She came into the isle and slowly approached you.

" I wanted theses moon boots but look at the price" you said sadly, gwen bent down a little and took a look at the white paper that had the price of the shoes written on it.

" what color do you want baby?" She asked standing back up straight.

You looked at her with confusion.

" I wanted 2 actually a white and maybe red" you said, but the price, the damn price.

" put them in the cart" she said looking at some leather jackets.

" you'd actually buy then for me?" You asked slightly shocked.

She turned to face you again. She placed a soft kiss on your lip.

" I'd buy you then world if it was possible, my princess" she said nodding at you, you quickly remembered that shoes and picked them up.

On the drive home you couldn't stop looking at her and smiling.

" you know i can feel you staring at me right?" She asked slightly chuckling.

You smiled softly at her.

" who did I get so lucky?" She smiled and took her eyes off the road for a second to look at you. You had heart shaped eyes.

" I should be the one asking that question y/n" she said kissing your cheek.

" 1" she said, you giggled. She pulled you closer to her chest and kissed your forehead.

" and i'd do it again" she whispered.

" yeah I don't think so ms. hulk, do you know how much it will take to fix back that door" you said, snuggling closer to her.

Soon you fell asleep again. And you felt safe.

Gwen was your everything, your safe place, your home, your companion, your comfort, your sunshine, your success, your friend, your wife she meant the world to you.

You remembered when you first met her. You were just a young fan at one of her red carpet events who just wanted their favorite celebrity to sign their autograph.

But she saw something special in you. You were the first person in 24 years to actually understand her.

You still remember the day gwen asked you to be her girlfriend. In Paris at a very fancy restaurant called " la Gabriel"

And then day she asked to be her wife at the Maldives.

She always made you feel special and loved something you never felt.

Gwen and you had an unbreakable bond.

That was until you both announced your relationship on social media, things went downhill.

Your marriage went south and no matter how many times you both tried to save it. Nothing seemed to work.

Gwen was always at work, busy with work. You didn't slaughter her for that because so were you.

You both always argued over stupid stuff.

She truly loved you and so did you.

You both were planning to have a family together but life had other plans.

The day that broke you the most was the day you and gwen got divorced, well sign your divorce papers.

You couldn't look at her. You felt guilty.

You've been crying for days. Your eyes were puffy, you were always sniffing.

You were a sun glasses to hide your tears but gwen saw right through your fake barrier.

" y/l/n it's time to sign the papers then gwen" the lawyer said. You took off the glasses and took in a deep breath and let out a shaky one.

Your eyes met her gaze.
